NASP Announces 2015 Annual Meeting & Expo in Washington, DC
Education Tracks in general specialty pharmacy, specialty pharmacy and payers, and clinical topics added. Expo upgraded with dedicated exhibit hours and private meeting space.
TAMPA, FL, October 23, 2014 —The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy™ (NASP™) announced today its Annual Meeting & Expo is scheduled for September 29 – October 2, 2015 at Marriott’s Gaylord National Convention Center, located just a few miles from downtown Washington, DC.
“NASP’s Annual Meeting & Expo continues to develop and grow to meet needs of all stakeholders in specialty pharmacy, providing quality education and ample opportunity to network with leaders and decision makers,” Gary M. Cohen, BSPharm, RPh, CSP, NASP CEO said. “The NASP meeting is where our industry comes together to advance our shared goals that will move specialty pharmacy forward.”
The 2015 Annual Meeting & Expo will feature three education tracks with targeted content focused on general special pharmacy, payers and clinical topics. The meeting will also feature plenary sessions addressing the specialty pharmacy pipeline and an expo with more than 50 exhibitors representing all stakeholders. Dedicated Expo hours with semi-private meeting rooms are being added.
Nearly 700 professionals from specialty pharmacies, manufacturers, wholesalers/distributors, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), health plans, chain and retail pharmacies, managed care organizations (MCOs), pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and others will convene at the NASP Annual Meeting & Expo to participate in high-level discussions that will help to shape the future of medicine and the changing healthcare environment.

NASP Publishes Practice Parameters

The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) announced today the publication of peer-reviewed practice parameters for guiding the distribution and management of specialty medications for five disease states including breast cancer, Hepatitis C, HIV, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and rheumatoid arthritis.
